Nicki Minaj Corner: The New Era is here

I did the mother thing. I did the wife thing or that, yeah, what's good you guys? This is Sharmanique of Catch these vibes podcast, bringing you a bonus, Nicki Minaj corner episode. Now now, now, now Onika Tanya Miraj is coming. Okay. The new era is  upon us, and I've been waiting for this day. For a very long time.

And you should know that if you've been listening to these Nicki Minaj corner episodes, you know, how, how highly anticipated Nicki Minaj's, fifth thing thing is. This new era is already off to a good start. She announced this week that she will have a song with  Lil baby next Friday, February 4th, to be exact.

She's also going to be on the late, late show with James cordon. And so that right there. Just screams, you know, new era because I'd, I highly doubt that she would be doing this just to do it. Um, it could be a promo single. I doubt that though. I believe that this was going to be on the album. And so we're going to be getting, getting new material, new music, new content from.

Nicki Minaj. And I'm very excited about it because it's been a long time. coming. And there's been a lot of bumps in the road, a lot of bumps in the road trying to prevent this day from coming or, well, yeah, try to prevent this day from coming. So it's just really, really exciting and something that a lot of us, Nicki Minaj fans are very happy about.

Um, it's very, it feels good when all the rumors be true. Yeah. So there were rumors floating around that there was a song going to be released with Nicki Minaj and little baby. So it feels good to know that that it was true. Like it wasn't just, just some bull, some BS floating around. It was actual facts.

Another rumor that's floating around that I think is true is that she will be on power. She's going to be on, um, Tommy's, um, addition to the, to the power series, power book series. And that's believable because. Her and 50 Cent I've always, always been cool. They're both from south side, Jamaica, Queens. They both rep it south side, we outside, you know, that's them like, so I feel like it's not far fetched at all for her to have some type of appearance.

Um, either that or the video is like a. I don't know because the, the, the artwork for the song with Nicki and Lil baby, it looks like they're in this type type of interrogation room. So it could be like a short film type video. And, um, Tommy could be in it. Well, his name is Joe. Joseph Sikora, his real name, but it's possible that he's in the video.

So maybe that's what the link is to him. Or maybe she is going to be on the show. I mean, again, that's not, it's not far-fetched at all because her 50 Cent have a close relationship. And when 50 cent came on, queen radio, she. I believe she did bring up being on power. And she also had went to the premiere.

She went to support him. I believe it was the premier of that show called for life, which I really love. So it's not far-fetched or hard to believe at all that Nicki will be, you know, would be on, you know, the 50 cent show. He also did say that he wanted to do some type of. Movie with her as his love interest.

So again, very likely that that that's in the works. And so that's very exciting stuff. It's very exciting to just know that it's close next Friday, we're getting a new Nicki Minaj verse, some new music. So. That's great. I'm very excited about it. I've been trying to contain my excitement, I guess, because it's still fresh and I've been waiting for so long.

We've been waiting for so long to get this information that it's just like, it's finally here. And I don't know. Maybe I, I just, it hasn't really soaked in yet, so, but, um, what else? Updates. So Nicki Minaj's   the case that, that, um, was in the works, that bullshit ass case is, was dropped. Um, it was dropped with, uh, I believe was it without prejudice or with.

Um, I, I, I honestly I'm having a brain fart, but I believe, I want to say it was without prejudice. So that means that they could possibly bring up the charges again. Um, in that case against Nicki Minaj, if I'm not mistaken, please don't quote me on this. I could be completely wrong and have it backwards, but point is.

That case has been dropped voluntarily by, by the plaintiff, which was Jennifer Hough. So that's a great thing because, you know, she could kind of put that situation behind her. I mean, it's not completely over and done with, but at least that part is over with, and this the way that it's going, it just doesn't look like.

It's going to be as big of an issue as it potentially was going to be at this point, because I think people are kind of starting the people that are really paying attention are, you know, beginning to see how BS the whole situation was and how it was kind of like a, well, not even kind of, it was, you know, a money grab, allegedly I ain't accuse anybody of anything, but just based off of the way that it looks.

And in my opinion, that's how I feel. So I'm honestly just really happy for her about that because that I'm S I'm sure that was very stressful situation. And so now she can just get to her business, gets her music and give her fans what they want and need. So I'm very, very excited and happy that she, um, announced this song.

Um, so. The producer of the song who has worked with Tory lanes, um, has done a couple of hits for Tory lanes actually. And he says that the song is like a club banger. Um, Lil baby is like one of the hottest rappers right now. One of the most popular or the most liked. So it's a good, it's a good look. And it's a good link up.

Honestly, I feel like the song is going to be fire without even needing to listen to it. I just know it's about to be fire. I mean, man, I mean, it's Nicki Minaj and little baby. You can't go wrong with that collaboration. These two, the. A little baby is definitely the hottest. Nicki Minaj is the hottest.

She's been the hottest and that hasn't stopped. So. I think it's safe to say that this is already a fire song. I don't have any doubts about it. I'm just, you know, excited to hear it and see exactly what it sounds like. Um, there's going to be a video along with it, so I'm happy to see that it's just going to be a good time.

We have a week to go and next week I hope it goes by fast because I just I'm just want to get to the next Friday. Um, and it's, it's crazy, you know, people are I heard or I read that Kendrick, Lamar is going to be dropping next Friday as well. Um, I don't feel worried about that. I mean, people loved Kendrick.

He's another one of those anticipated albums of the year. So the fact that he's going to be really sauna same day, potentially, possibly rumored. Um, I don't think Nicki should be worried about that at all, honestly. Um, but shout out to Kendrick, cause I'm, I'm, um, I'm excited for him to drop new music as well.

I'm a fan of his, so I'm not mad at it at. But anyways, back to Nicki. So this is the moment that we've been waiting for. This is the moment that we we've been wondering when it was going to come and here it is. It's it's it feels good that she starting this early in the year. And. Something that I, I wanted, I wanted her to kind of do something in the first quarter of this year.

That way she could just kind of just ride the wave for the whole, the rest of the year. You know what I mean? Just ride this era, ride this wave because. She still has the documentary. She still has. Um, I mean, who knows what else she got up, her sleeve, you know, movies and different things like that. So it's just really excited.

Y'all and I wanted to just make this episode just to talk about it, because this is the moment that I have been waiting for and ranting and raving about. In these Nicki Minaj corner episodes. So yeah, we're going to be, we're going to be in for a treat. I definitely believe that wholeheartedly we are in for a treat and I don't, we don't, we not going to be disappointed.

I just it's. It's just, yeah, no, no disappointment whatsoever. So, so there's that. I just wanted to pop out and talk about it and just, um, Make this Nicki Minaj corner episodes in honor of the announcements that we got this week. Um, very epic stuff. I'm very excited, so, so excited. Um, what else? This is probably going to be fairly short.

I didn't want to do too much or talk about too much. Um, Season 4  premiere is going to be on February 22nd 2/22/22 ,  is going to be 90 themed series. hold up. Wait a minute. Okay. So actually there is one last thing I wanted to mention and I wrote it down and still forgot to talk about it. But, um, Ebro Ebro from hot 97. He said that Nicki Minaj plays some songs for him, not just one song, but songs for him. And he heard the song that is coming out with a little baby.

And he said that the record sounds damn good. So that's good to hear that Nicky has been playing in her music for people she's been she's networking. She's been, um, talking to the hip hop heads, um, like Ebro and who else knows, you know, who, uh, who else? Um, could she had possibly been talking to, um, She, she might hit up Joe Budden and we might hear him talk about it on his podcast.

That would be cool. Um, I like that idea. I like that idea, going to the hip hop peoples and, you know, previewing her music and, um, just getting the hype or building the hype for it. Um, I feel like that's exactly what it does. Um, the fact that  EBro or her and Ebro had a conversation and she played the music for him is I think that that's pretty dope and it's good to know.

And I'm happy that, um, he shared that information. So I think that that's cool. So I just wanted to add that and I think that she should keep up with that. Keep, you know, hit up Joe Budden, hit ups, uh, sway, hit up, um, flex, hit up. Everybody let everybody know that you're coming. Like, why not? Build up that hype.

And I mean, the hype is already there, but when you got people talking about it, that builds it up even more. So I just wanted to add that and yeah, I'm end it on that note until next time. Bye.
